One of Gugelot's last designs for Braun issued in the year before his death. A dynamo operated pocket torch with red and clear filters. The DT 1 was a re-design of a dynamo torch produced by Braun during the WW II. 

The final group of designs undertaken by Gugelot for Braun - the DT 1 torch, SM 31sixtant shaver, and diskus torch - consist of objects enclosed by the hand in use.
